Chudha Charana And Kalire Ritual

The 'chudha charana' is performed by the maternal uncle of the bride, who puts a beautiful set of red and ivory bangles on the bride's hand after soaking it in rose petals and milk. The uncle also performs a wedding havan in front of the sacred fire after which the bride has to wear the Chudha for at least 40 to 45 days after marriage.
